Are You Smarter Than A 3-Year-Old?

I went a different route teaching Sofia letters. We began with the letter "R" & went from there. These were the first letters we learned....more important was learning the meaning of each word.

R is for Respectful & Responsible
J is for Jesus
C is for Considerate
K is for Kind
L is for Listen

Now she is really grasping the concept of spelling. She usually links letter with names. So we have S....sss, sss, Stella....which is usually followed by a Rihanna tune "Stella....ella....ella." Her favorite letters are B.....beh, beh, Barack Obama & beh, beh, Brett (a classmate) & J.

I decided that no child of mine will be ill-informed on what should be American common knowledge. These also happen to be her favorite letters. Stella distracts her by offering a goldfish cracker, but then Fia regains her focus.

Okay, so she's almost 4, but to be fair she had the information from the video down about a month ago....I'm just a little late posting it. Once she's 4, we're gonna tackle the Lord's Prayer.

Great Job! It is amazing how young children are just ready to learn, memorize and retain! Keep up the good work with her!

I'm glad my 4 year old isn't the only child who sings "ella, ella, eh, eh."

That is more than most adults know!
